GatorCamp Florida: C4 Mission Trip
July 6 - July 14We love to serve at GatorCamp!
It's a roadtrip to sunny Florida and back again. We drive the 1200miles to Punta Gorda, Florida. Home to GatorCamp wilderness boys camp. (click here to check out their website). On location we serve Camp through building improvements, grounds work, camper sharing, and much more. There will be opportunities to work, share, worship, swim and of course- eat great Camp cooking! It will be a great time. Expect work, fun and time to grow in relationship with Jesus.
Registration is open now... UPDATE- the trip is full but you can be added to wait list by reaching out to Jim. CURRENT NOTE: if a current attendee has a need to cancel, you can do so with FULL refund since there is a list of students willing to take the spot.
Click this to register and pay
Cost: $200 per person and we fundraise another $200 (almost done already), and CMF gives another $200
*a $50 deposit is required to hold your spot. Please be sure to pay this when you register or get a check to Jim to be sure your spot is held. The rest can be paid at a later date.
We also eat quite a few meals on the road during the road trip portion. You pay that on your own. All meals at Camp are covered.
(If you know you plan to go, I recommend signing up early. There is a chance that numbers may be capped depending on sleep space available at Camp. Update: Numbers are very close to full.)
Basic Schedule: we leave early Saturday morning July 6. We stay at a hotel half way to Florida. Then we drive the rest of the way, arriving Sunday evening. We work and serve at Camp Monday-Friday, minus a "funday". Then we leave early Saturday with an expected Sunday return to Milton. (the tentative return date has been between Saturday and Sunday. We've now settled on the Sunday return date.)
